About the Facilitator
Tony Renaud has been a member of Toastmasters for 9 years. As a senior manager at IBM, he knows the importance of good communication and leadership skills in today’s world. The Toastmasters program can grow those skills, so he and several of his co-workers started a Toastmasters club. Delivering effective feedback is of particular importance in a management role and mastering the art of speech evaluations was a powerful way to develop that skill. In his 9 years as a Toastmaster, Tony has competed at the District evaluation contest 4 times and achieved a third place and two second place finishes. The fact that winning at the District has eluded him thus far is just a reminder that there is always more to learn in this valuable skill.
