2025-2026 Speech Contest Information:

Contest types

District 61 will conduct these contests:

  • International Speech Contest
  • French Speech Contest
  • Table Topics Contest
  • French Table Topics Contest

Contestants per Area (# Clubs in Good Standing)

District 61 allows 2 contestants from each club that belongs to an area with 4 or fewer clubs in good standing to compete in their area contests.

Contestants per Division (by # Areas)

District 61 allows 2 contestants from each area that belongs to a division with 4 or fewer areas to compete in their division contests.

Contest Formats and Dates

Club Contests

  • The format is open to the club's choice and must be completed 2025-08-01 to 2025-09-30.

Area Contests

  • In person, 2025-10-01 to 2025-10-31.
  • Watch for updates from your Area Director on contest dates.

District Contests

  • District Table Topics (Fr and En) in person at Autumn Celebration, Day of Confidence Building - 2025-11-29.
  • International Speech and French Speech contests in person at Annual Conference - 2026-04-18
